Know a URL's indexability before you spend a credit
Run up to 200 URLs at once through 13 real indexability signals and get a clear score for each — free, and it never uses credits.
What the Link Checker actually checks
Every signal below is a real, live check run against the URL you submit — not a simulated or planned result. If a signal can't be determined (for example, the page couldn't be reached), it's reported as unknown rather than a fake pass.
Confirms the page returns a successful response search engines can actually crawl and index.
Confirms the page is served over HTTPS, which search engines favor over plain HTTP.
Checks whether robots.txt allows general crawlers to access the page's path.
Detects a noindex directive in the meta tag or response headers that would block indexing outright.
Checks for a <title> tag and meta description, and flags lengths outside recommended ranges.
Flags pages with very little visible text — a heuristic for thin content.
Checks for a canonical tag and whether it correctly points back to the same page.
Looks for a sitemap referenced in robots.txt or at the conventional /sitemap.xml location.
Counts internal and external links so a page isn't an isolated dead end for crawlers.
Checks for schema.org structured data (JSON-LD or microdata) on the page.
Flags overly long URLs, excessive query parameters, or unusual casing.
Measures response time and flags pages that are slow to respond.
Flags heuristic spam signals like keyword-stuffed titles or hidden text — not a guarantee of spam-free content.
A clear indexability score, every time
Each URL is scored out of the 13 signals above and given a letter grade, with a plain-language explanation for every check — what it found, and why it matters. Results are read-only analysis: running the Link Checker never submits a URL for indexing and never deducts credits.
